Acquired by LexCorp in 2014, S.T.A.R Labs has made significant progress in the producing clean, renewable energy in several cities across America through the patented Particle Accelerators. The subdivision has also made advancements in meta-human and dark matter research.

“Since its inception, S.T.A.R Labs has aimed to make advancements in science and medicine. Despite some setbacks, our mission to advance has yet to falter. We can never learn to fly without crashing a few times.”

Dr. Harrison Wells has spearheaded S.T.A.R Labs since 2000 prior to the LexCorp acquisition, and is the man responsible for the Particle Accelerator project.

S.T.A.R. Labs PARTICLE ACCELERATOR

The S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator, nicknamed The Pipeline, is a device created by S.T.A.R. Labs. On January 7, 2014, the particle accelerator was activated by S.T.A.R. Labs to power all of Central City with clean energy, and to further the advancement of the science and medicine.
Since then, similar accelerators have been built in Metropolis and Star City to generate renewable energy in those cities. The particle accelerator technology has also been used for containment of metahuman criminals in prisons such as Iron Heights Penitentiary, Stryker's Island Penitentiary and Arkham Asylum.

S.T.A.R Labs is constantly on the look for talented scientific minds to join and contribute in projects. Through the Luthor Foundation, S.T.A.R Labs has recruited hundreds of graduates from universities worldwide.
The recruitment program is overseen by Francisco Ramon, the lead mechanical engineer of Star Labs' Central City branch.
